Mas Castells is a magnificent villa located in an actual farm in the region of Baix Camp, within the boundaries of Riudoms, province of Tarragona. The villa has been impeccably renovated and decorated with all the necessary elements to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay (fireplace, terrace, outdoor areas, swimming pool with Jacuzzi area…). A bit of history
Mas Castells is a centenarian villa which was renovated at the beginning of the twentieth century. However, it was not until the 1960s when this villa started to adapt to its current comfort parameters.
During that decade, the Castells Germès family purchased the house and its properties and started an excellent renovation of the villa, making it a comfortable and luxury space with current water and light systems, as required at that time.
Historical anecdote: during the 1930s, Mas Castells worked as a state school by the Republican government in Riudoms, since its location kept children safe from bombing in the Spanish Civil War. It was one of the few co-educational schools in Spain.
